“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.”

-Rumi

Born in India and raised amidst traditional healing wisdom, I’ve always had a penchant for wholeness, wellness, and beauty. I grew up in a family of engineers and technology nerds, so choosing Physical Therapy as a career path was off the beaten track. I’ve never had a doubt in my mind that this is the work I’m cut out for: there is so much need and so much good to be done!

I have been helping athletes, active individuals, and people across all backgrounds since 2001. I’ve worked with everyone from weekend warriors to Olympic level athletes, including runners, dancers, triathletes, golfers, and Greco-Roman Olympic wrestlers. I also enjoy working with people who love yoga, cross-fit, cycling, hiking, and other activities.

My ultimate goal is to help my patients recover as quickly and as completely as possible. Continuing education keeps me up to date in the latest research and practices in neuroscience, movement, trauma recovery, and advancing vitality and wellness. This allows me to provide the best possible care for my patients, zeroing in with speed, sensitivity and clarity on appropriate modalities for change, and offering clear and personalized suggestions to invite healing. I feel grateful to be in this work everyday. I am a lifelong learner, and continue to expand my knowledge and ideas on what it means to be fully present, healthy, and thriving in today’s demanding world.

Patients say my work with them is different from other Physical Therapy they have experienced. I believe these are some of the reasons why:

1.

Everything is connected

I take a non-reductionist approach. Nothing in the body functions in isolation. I don’t “do backs” or “do knees” or any other dissociated body part. I believe that talking about a body as if it is just structural – bones, joints, ligaments, etc. is dehumanizing, and devoid of our spiritual element. I serve human beings as they are, rich with history, stories, and beliefs.

2.

Not into standard protocols

Standard Protocols are for machines, not humans. Each of us is unique, there is no one size fits all. Your healing story is different from everyone else’s.

3.

Fully committed to your success

Through extensive continuing education and a love for the work I offer, I have created what I needed to see in the health care world – a practice that is rooted in generosity, service, and connection.  And I am fully committed to exceeding expectations.

4.

I have your back

I will often collaborate with others in your care team to make sure we are all on the same page.  Having a unified team prevents all sorts of oversights, mistakes, and confusion in care

5.

I’m not for everyone

I work with people who are committed to their well-being.  It’s a 2 way street, so you will need to take 100% responsibility for your part of taking care of YOU.  You must show up, be present, and be engaged in the work we do.
